FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Is there a check-in and check-out process?

Yes! When you come into the church building for 2nd service on Sundays, there will a team member in the entryway at a laptop available to collect names, phone numbers, and any other relevant information such as dietary restrictions. The volunteer will then print off two stickers; one is for your child, and the other for you. These have a matching code so we can ensure the right child goes home with the right parent or guardian. If we already have all the necessary information, there is a tablet available so you can check in by yourself. Just make sure to go to the main check-in station to pick up your stickers!

Nursery-aged kids may be dropped off in their classroom as soon as they are checked in. All other ages are released from the church service after musical worship and announcements.

When you are ready to pick up your child, go to their classroom and present your coded sticker to one of the class volunteers. You must have the sticker when picking up your child.

How is MPFCC protecting my child?

At MPFCC, we take the protection of your child very seriously. Aside from our check-in and check-out system, all staff and volunteers working with children are required to go through regular background checks and an annual orientation of our Child Protection Policy. This discusses everything from conduct with children, to procedures for releasing kids to their parents/guardians, and more.

What curriculum does MPFCC use?

MPFCC uses "The Gospel Project for Kids" as our Children's Church curriculum. If you want to learn more about The Gospel Project, check out their website by clicking the button below:

How can I volunteer with the MPFCC Children's Ministry?

If you're a regular attender and are interested in volunteering with kids, talk to us! You can approach our staff directly, or you can mark on your Connection Card while in the church service. All volunteers are required to go through a one-time volunteer orientation, and all children's ministry volunteers must also consent to regular background checks and an annual Child Protection Policy Orientation.
